2026 Food Facility Biennial Renewal
All domestic and foreign food facilities (including dietary supplement facilities and facilities handling human or animal food) that are required to register with the FDA must renew their Food Facility Registration every two years, between October 1 and December 31 of each even-numbered year. This requirement applies to facilities that manufacture, process, pack, or hold food for human or animal consumption in the United States.
For the 2026 renewal cycle, registrations must be renewed by December 31, 2026. Registrations that are not renewed by the deadline are considered expired by FDA. An expired registration means the facility is no longer properly registered; for foreign facilities, products offered for import into the United States may also be held at the port of entry or refused admission until the registration issue is corrected.
Renew early and save: registrations paid during October 2026 qualify for our promotional Early Renewal Rate, before prices increase in November.
